His expertise is about corporate digital transformation and its impact on performance, development of quantitative methods in the IT systems field. He has published in Decision Sciences, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Information Technology, European Journal of Information Systems, and others. Jose’s engagement with the IS discipline has been recognized, designating him as an Association for Information Systems Distinguished Member Cum Laude. He currently serves as Senior Editor of the European Journal of Information Systems, Information & Management and Decision Support Systems and as Associate Editor for the Journal of the Association for Information Systems. In addition, Jose has served as Guest Editor of Decision Sciences.

Debbie Isobel Keeling holds substantive roles with impact and knowledge exchange at their core: Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor for Knowledge Exchange, Director of the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account, and Regional Editor (EMEA) for the European Journal of Marketing. With a background in psychology, Debbie is passionate about impactful innovation in complex health and social services and market-facing reality enhancing technologies. In today’s dynamic environment and the changing shape of careers, academic researchers will need to engage in an entrepreneurial mindset. Recognizing this, Debbie actively champions new ways of thinking about, building capability in, and achieving impact. Debbie is a Professor of Marketing in the University of Sussex Business School and previously held positions in the School of Business and Economics, Loughborough University and Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, and ran her own company. She sits on the Editorial Review Boards for Psychology and Marketing, the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, and Emerald Open Research.
Patrick Mikalef
Associate Professor in Data Science and Information Systems at Norwegian University of Science nd Technology (NTNU). In the past, he has been a Marie Skłodowska-Curie post-doctoral research fellow working on the research project "Competitive Advantage for the Data-driven Enterprise" (CADENT). He received his B.Sc. in Informatics from the Ionian University, his M.Sc. in Business Informatics for Utrecht University, and his Ph.D. in IT Strategy from the Ionian University. His research interests focus on the strategic use of information systems and IT-business value in turbulent environments. He has published work in international conferences and peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Business Research, British Journal of Management, Information & Management, Industrial Management & Data Systems, and Information Systems and e-Business Management. He currently serves as Associate Editor of the European Journal of Information Systems and Information & Management.
Saras Sarasvathy
Saras D. Sarasvathy is Paul Hammaker Professor at University of Virginia’s Darden School and also holds the Jamuna Raghavan Chair in Entrepreneurship at IIM, Bangalore. A leading scholar on the cognitive basis for high-performance entrepreneurship, elaborated in the book Effectuation: Elements of Entrepreneurial Expertise, she serves as advisor to entrepreneurship programs around the world. Effectuation is a rigorous framework for understanding how entrepreneurs starting with very few resources can nonetheless create enduring ventures with high economic and social impact. Sarasvathy’s scholarly work has been published in leading journals in economics, ethics and management and has won several awards from the Academy of Management (most recently the Foundational Paper Award from the Entrepreneurship Division) and the American Marketing Association. Sarasvathy has served on the editorial boards of top journals in management and entrepreneurship. Babson College recognized her contributions to entrepreneurship education with an honorary doctorate and Fortune Small Business magazine named her one of top 18 entrepreneurship professors. The Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers recognized her achievements through their Legacy Award in 2019. Dr. Sarasvathy is the 2022 winner of the Global Award of Entrepreneurship Research awared from Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum. Dr. Sarasvathy received her Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University. Her thesis was supervised by Herbert Simon, 1978 Nobel Laureate in Economics.
